Walter I Obrien of Massachusetts became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the U.S. Army, Field Artillery, FA: FIELD ARTILLERY, Walter was captured by GERMANY and was imprisoned at Stalag 2A Neubrandenburg Mecklenberg 53-13. Final information at the end of the conflict was Returned to Military Control, Liberated or Repatriated. Data shows Walter was in 320 Battalion/Training Battalion Combat/Special Troops Glider Field Artillery European Theatre: Holland. Source. US National Archives.
