Olaf W Hagemo of Minnesota became a Prisoner of War during World War II.
Serving in the USMC, United States Marine Corps, MAR: UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, Olaf was captured by JAPAN and was imprisoned at Fukuoka POW Camp 1 - Kashii (Pine Tree Camp) Kyushu Island 33-130. Final information at the end of the conflict was Died as Prisoner of War, Not Above Cases. Data shows Olaf was in Southwest Pacific Theatre: Philippine Islands. Source. US National Archives.
