Listen to men of the 99th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group talk about their recent missions. Flying P-51 aircraft these Tuskegee Airmen known by this because of their stateside training location provided escort duty for the B-17 and B-24 bombers as well as attacking targets of opportunity. Also known as "Red Tails" for the distinctively painted tail on their aircraft.
